I am being forced for my critical thinking class to present an argument proving that videogames are having a negative effect on society. I really, really, don’t want to have to do this but I have to. I thought it would be pretty funny to find some inaccurate proof for my argument from Jack Thompson who I despise. I’ll let you know how it goes….
Amidst all the online pranks today, some interesting bit of news has been confirmed. Lite-On, the supplier of the internal DVD drive for the 360 has told DigiTimes that a internal Blue-Ray drive is being developed for the second half of 2008. Another random fact was added, the 360 system coming with the Blu-Ray drive will be using a 170-watt power supply compared to the 210 watt one used now. This is really interesting news because I really want a Blu-Ray player. Enough so that I was actually considering getting a PS3 to get one. Isn’t it funny how Microsoft was denying even considering implementing a Blu-Ray add on for the 360 but now is putting one inside? Stupid PR people…. I bet that Microsoft will publicly deny this tomorrow, just wait and see.
I have completed Call of Duty 3. Man, what a long and hard journey that was and I’m not talking about the level of difficulty. While there are a few segments where I really enjoyed it, the rest was just bleh. Certain times my AI friends would fly into the air for no reason or get stuck and block my path.
As is with tradition, I will leave you with a entertaining video. Ta ta my friends.
